Breaking: Dodgers Predicted to Reunite With $8M Gutsy…
It sounds like the Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to add another superstar to town.
Los Angeles took down the New York Yankees this fall in the World Series but clearly it isn’t getting complacent. The Dodgers are looking to add some pitching and reportedly have met with two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal.
“Blake Snell is not wasting any time,” Rosenthal said. “The free-agent left-hander recently met with the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, according to sources with knowledge of the discussions.
“It is possible Snell also met, or will meet, with the Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays and other clubs seeking a top-end starter. He surely wants an earlier resolution in free agency than he had last offseason when he did not sign with the San Francisco Giants until March 19.”
Snell is a true superstar and shined in 2024 as a member of the San Francisco Giants. He struggled early on, but once he got healthy, he looked like a star once again. Snell finished the season with a 3.12 ERA across 20 starts.
If the Dodgers somehow could land him, he would make the club even better. Snell is projected to land a five-year, $131 million deal this winter. If he somehow lands with the Dodgers, Los Angeles would be even more overpowered.
