Breaking: Rodgers’ Comments Spark Controversy: “Jets’ Late-Season Surge Fueled by…

The 2024 season hasn’t seen the New York Jets get too many wins, with the 32-15 triumph over the Jacksonville Jaguars just the fourth time Gang Green has tasted victory.

Now sitting at 4-10 and with the season outlook still bleak, sometimes the wins can get overlooked due to the sheer negativity of how the year has gone.

But any win in the NFL is tough, and considering that the Jets were 0-7 in one-score games prior to Week 15 against the Jaguars, now New York is 1-7 after finally being able to close the deal.

For Aaron Rodgers, while the season hasn’t gone the way he or the organization had hoped, winning just their fourth game isn’t any less special to him.

“It’s too little, too late,” Rodgers said on the close win. “But still special, doesn’t taint it at all, doesn’t steal any of the joy of it, doesn’t take away any of the fun that’s going to be on the bus and then on the plane. But it’s still going to be special, they’re always special but this was a year of things that we were close but we kind of let it get away from us in the middle of the season.”

With the Jets having nothing to play for but pride, they must take the little wins they get along the way. Yes, the now 3-11 Jaguars aren’t a top NFL team, but that doesn’t mean the win can’t be celebrated.

In a season where not much has gone right when it does, soak it all in, and that is exactly what Rodgers is doing.

For some of the Jets roster, this will be their last season as a member of Gang Green, so they are making the most of the good times that come in the season’s final month.

And Rodgers isn’t about to let a season of disappointment ruin a good moment for his team.
