Raiders Ready for Jaguars Showdown: Las Vegas Makes Key Roster Moves and…
The Las Vegas Raiders need a loss on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars to keep their hopes alive for the No. 1 overall pick. If they win this game, they could end up losing the No. 1 pick to the New York Giants, who currently have the same record as the Raiders.
And, for some reason, it feels like the Raiders are destined to win this game.
They are playing two teams over the next two games, with two backup quarterbacks in the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints. Meanwhile, Antonio Pierce mentioned that the Raiders will likely roll out on the field with Aidan O’Connell as the quarterback, boosting their chances at winning more than if they had started Desmond Ridder, respectfully.
But, the Raiders will have to play some guys that haven’t played a ton of football. On Saturday, they made some elevations and roster moves.
They signed #36 cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly to the active roster and activated #86 tight end John Samuel Shenker from the practice squad.
