It will have been an enjoyable victory for those supporters, despite the challenging conditions that the side found themselves in.
The task now will be backing that up with victories against Atalanta in the Champions League and Manchester City in the Premier League.

While many questioned the signing of Havertz, the forward has shown exactly why he moved to the Emirates Stadium last summer.
There are often doubts about his goal output, but the bottom line is that Arsenal must win duels if they are to allow the tactics to do the rest.
In a game where it was almost exclusively duels, Havertz shined at the top end of the pitch with his work off the ball – along with his other forward partners.
