Breaking: Packers Pull Off Shocking Heist: Green Bay Set to Steal Key Aaron Rodgers Jets Teammate in…

The Green Bay Packers are 11-4 and on their way to the NFL Playoffs for the second year in a row with Jordan Love as their starting quarterback. Indeed, the level of success that the Packers have achieved since trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets has been nothing short of impressive, especially when one considers that the Jets have now missed the postseason in each of the two seasons following the trade.

Over the course of the last two years, there have been more than a handful of former Packers players that have joined Rodgers in New York, which has led to a plethora of jokes being made calling the Jets the New York Packers.

Players that have found their way to New York since the trade include Davante AdamsAllen LazardAdrian AmosRandall CobbAnders CarlsonBilly Turner, and former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

Ironically, one Packers writer believes that Green Bay may be looking to add a soon-to-be-former Jets player to their roster in 2025.

The Green Bay Packers Could Sign New York Jets Cornerback DJ Reed

In a recent article posted by Packers WireBrandon Carwile suggests that Green Bay could strengthen their cornerback room in the 2025 offseason by signing DJ Reed, who is set to become a free agent.

Reed will be highly coveted, but Green Bay might be an appealing destination. There would likely be a lot of carryover from the Jets’ scheme to Jeff Hafley’s, setting up for a smooth transition for Reed, who would join an extremely talented secondary and be starting for a legitimate contender.”

Reed has played in 12 games this year (all starts) and has 10 passes broken up, though he does not have an interception. So far this season, Reed is allowing just a 57.1% completion percentage and 82.1 passer rating when targeted.
