Jets’ $9.5 Million Mistake: Haason Reddick’s Disastrous Season Ends with Zero Sacks
At the start of this season, the New York Jets were all in. They wanted to win the Super Bowl with a healthy Aaron Rodgers behind center and went all out in getting hold of prime veterans to bolster their young squad. One of the prime stars they went out to get was pass rusher Haason Reddick .
Haason Reddick‘s career with the Jets did not start off on the right foot. He held out for a better contract longer than what players usually do. He even went to Japan and took shots at his new team for failing to live up on their promises.
It even left owner Woody Johnson baffled by the length of his holdout. However, both sides eventually settled on a revised contract. That contract though had a few clauses added for him to recover the money lost to fines during that holdout.
