Arsenal fans all spotted what Leandro Trossard told the referee about William Saliba, it’s funny

Arsenal duo Leandro Trossard and William Saliba faced each other in the Nations League in Brussels.

France and Belgium share a big rivalry in Europe, but the Red Devils haven’t always had the luck that they would’ve liked against Les Bleus.

On Monday night, Belgium actually played well – perhaps even better than France. However, it was the latter who showed their class in the moments that mattered the most.

Neither Trossard nor Saliba had a great game, but there was one incident in the first half that caught Arsenal fans’ eye.

Trossard ran up to the referee and made one clear demand about his Arsenal teammate, Saliba.

What Arsenal star Leandro Trossard was ‘begging’ the referee to do to William Saliba

Saliba had a terrible game for France against Belgium on Monday night.

The Frenchman made a lot of mistakes, but the biggest one was probably the penalty he conceded when his slip led to a foul on Lois Openda.

After a VAR review, the referee pointed to the spot and gave Saliba a yellow card, but Trossard was spotted running over to the official and asking him to send his Arsenal teammate off.

The Belgian could be seen throwing his hands in the air in frustration when the referee disagreed with him. Arsenal fans can’t stop laughing at the incident.

One Arsenal fan tweeted “Trossard telling the ref to red card Saliba” followed by a laughing emoji.

Another wrote: “Football is cruel, see Trossard trying to get Saliba sent off!”

“Trossard wants a red card for Saliba,” wrote another with a laughing emoji.
