Having played three seasons with the Nationals, Thomas is well-acquainted with the NL East. His best year in Washington was 2023 when he hit 28 home runs and drove in 86 RBIs.
Thomas aims for more consistency this season. While not a dominant hitter, he’s a reliable defender. In 2023, he recorded 334 putouts, 18 assists, and three double plays, with only five errors.
A potential trade for Thomas would address Philadelphia’s depth issues, providing a solid defender and a player capable of getting on base and hitting the occasional home run.
