Breaking: Red Sox Announce Tim Hyers as New Hitting Coach; Chris Sales Receives Comeback Award

The Atlanta Braves made a change to the coaching staff on Thursday and hired Tim Hyers as hitting coach.

53-year-old Hyers previously coached the Texas Rangers and helped lead them to the World Series title in 2023. He has also spent some time with the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Atlanta native will replace Kevin Seitzer, who the Braves fired just two weeks ago. Hyers should be a good fit for the Braves, as he has worked with a dozen Silver Slugger winners in the past.
