Breaking: All-Star Brave Expected to Command $26M on Open Market
The World Series is about to kick off with the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees.
Sadly, the Atlanta Braves won’t be a part of it.
The Braves will have to make some decisions about club options, though. One that the Braves will have to make a decision about is All-Star catcher Travis d’Arnaud. He has an $8 million club option for the 2025 campaign.
He has been with the Braves since 2020 and has been a great piece for the club. If the option were to be declined, he’s projected to get more in free agency. d’Arnaud currently is projected to get a two-year deal worth roughly $26 million.
This isn’t too shocking. He is a one-time All-Star who clubbed 15 home runs and drove in 48 runs in 2024 with the Braves. d’Arnaud will be an important piece for whatever team he plays for in 2025. Whether it is with the Braves or another club, he still is a very solid veteran piece who could help a contender.
