Breaking: Bears Get Booed Off the Field in Humiliating TNF Loss: Bears Loss to Seahawks Sparks Fan Outrage
For the final time in 2024, the Chicago Bears played at Soldier Field, taking on the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. It ended without a touchdown – and the home team getting booed off the field.
After Caleb Williams’ final pass was picked off, which also ended his interception-less streak, fans booed the Bears off the field as the Seahawks kneeled out the 6-3 victory on TNF. The boo-birds followed the “Sell The Team” chants as Chicago fans made their thoughts clear toward the McCaskey family following another rough showing in a year that began with high expectations.
Thursday’s loss dropped the Bears to 4-12 on the season as they look ahead to the finale against the Green Bay Packers in Week 18. But for Chicago fans who traveled to the lakefront for the final time in 2024, they had enough.
Williams and the Bears offense struggled once again Thursday night as the Seahawks defense threw pressure at the rookie. He completed 16 of 28 passes for 122 yards, as well as his first interception since Oct. 13 – which also marked Chicago’s last win. Williams was also sacked six times.
Neither offense had a night to remember, though. The Seahawks totaled 265 total yards, including 160 from Geno Smith and 57 rushing yards from Zach Charbonnet. But Pharaoh Brown committed a costly fumble to end a threat.
For Chicago, it was yet another night of 3-and-outs and penalties. The Bears totaled just 179 yards of offense and had a touchdown pass from Williams to Rome Odunze wiped off the board by a holding penalty.
