Breaking: Ravens on Verge of Landmark Signing: Star CB with 9 INT’s to Join Forces with Nate Wiggins
The Baltimore Ravens tried to upgrade their secondary in-season by acquiring former All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White near the trade deadline. White clearly isn’t the player he once was with the Buffalo Bills, as this move for Baltimore was just to get through the remainder of the season.
Luckily for the Ravens, they could possibly land another young cornerback prospect. They added Nate Wiggins last year in the first round, who’s shown the ability to turn into a stud sooner rather than later. The Ravens could potentially create a young cornerback tandem in 2025, as Travis May of A to Z Sports had them select Notre Dame prospect Benjamin Morrison with the No.26 pick.
Morrison’s injury limited him to six games in 2024, but he had shown to be a lockdown corner in his previous two seasons with the Irish. In three years, Morrison logged 18 passes defended, nine interceptions and five tackles for a loss. He, along with Wiggins, would give Baltimore a feared cornerback duo for years to come.
