Breaking: Star Power Returns to Houston
Will the Houston Astros find a way to keep one of the organization’s biggest superstars?
Third baseman Alex Bregman has developed into not only one of the top third basemen in baseball but one of the best players in Astros history.
It’s too early to know, but the club thinks it has a “really good chance” of a deal, according to FanSided’s Robert Murray.
Bregman slugged 26 home runs and drove in 75 runs in 2024 while also winning a Gold Glove Award. Things are certainly going to play out well for him this winter, and Spotrac currently is projecting him to receive a four-year, $119 million deal this winter, although that does seem to be on the lower side.
Houston will be a very intriguing team to watch this winter.
