Breaking: Steelers’ Weak Spot Exposed: Myles Garett’s Chance to Shine

The Cleveland Browns don’t have much to lose in Week 12 because they already sit at 2-8 on the season. On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Steelers are 8-2 and will be looking to roll into Cleveland on Thursday night and roll to another win.

As of recently, the Steelers have not been able to win in Cleveland and the Browns have that working for them. However, this is a different Steelers team that may have contender written on them.

To find out a little more about this Steelers team, I went to A to Z Sports’ Rob Gregson, who is the expert for everything Steelers.

BL: T.J. Watt has three sacks over the last three games and he always seems to play well against the Browns. With Dawand Jones out for the season, the Browns will likely go with Jedrick Wills Jr. at left tackle. Do we see Watt focusing on beating Wills all game since he’s the weak link?

RG: The Steelers have experimented a lot more with Watt playing on both sides of the line this year. With Alex Highsmith all but ruled out against the Browns, picking his spots might be the best approach for Watt. Nick Herbig and Preston Smith look to mix in opposite of the All-Pro

BL: Russell Wilson has been sacked quite a bit over the past couple of weeks. Myles Garrett was quiet in Week 11 and normally shows up against the Steelers. How does Pittsburgh look to limit him and what might their offensive game plan be to stop him from wrecking things?

RG: Russell Wilson’s sack woes have started to rear their head despite his otherwise solid play. With Broderick Jones struggling against Baltimore and Dan Moore Jr. knowing all too well about Myles Garrett, the Steelers will have to deploy a better pass-pro plan. Their answer might be TE Darnell Washington, who while getting involved in the passing game more over the last few weeks, has a day job of blocking. Expect him to be a heavy chipper

BL: The Steelers are at the top of the division and the Browns are at the bottom. On paper, this looks like a game the Steelers walk away with. What is your prediction for how this game will go?

RG: This matchup has trap game written all over it. Coming off the adrenaline dump that was the Ravens matchup, Thursday night will go a long way in telling the mindset and discipline of this team. I think Pittsburgh prevails because of their ability to create turnovers, but I expect a hard-fought game to the end. 22-18 Steelers win.
