Brogdon’s Status Change: From 40-Man to Triple-A
Connor Brogdon cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City, removing him from the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 40-man roster.
The Dodgers acquired Brogdon from the Philadelphia Phillies this past April in exchange for Minor League pitcher Benony Robles, who originally signed with the team as an international free agent in July 2017.
Brogdon had been designated for assignment by the Phillies after allowing seven runs (six earned) in two innings pitched across three appearances.
Brogdon pitched in one game for the Dodgers before he was placed on the 15-day injured list with right plantar fasciitis. The 29-year-old was transferred to the 60-day IL in May and missed the remainder of the 2024 season.
Between the two teams, Brogdon posted a 24.00 ERA and 3.67 WHIP with three strikeouts against six walks in three innings of work (four games).
