The Minnesota Vikings will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon and are expected to have the services of offensive tackle Cam Robinson.
Robinson was listed as questionable with a foot injury on the Vikings final injury report on Friday but NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported he will play in Sunday’s game.
Robinson left last week’s game against the Chicago Bears after nine snaps due to the injury but was able to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday and Thursday. Robinson was listed as questionable after getting in a full practice on Friday but Pelissero also reports that the Vikings will have an extra offensive tackle active in case Robinson aggravates the injury.
The Vikings acquired Robinson in an Oct. 30 trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars after Christian Darrisaw was lost for the season with a multi-ligament knee injury. In four games since the trade, Robinson has allowed 12 pressures on 132 pass blocking snaps but six pressures came in a win against his former team on Nov. 10.
Robinson has a Pro Football Focus pass blocking grade of 75.0 since the trade, which is second behind Brian O’Neill, who ranks sixth in the NFL with an 87.8 pass-blocking grade during that stretch.
The Vikings will host the Cardinals with a noon kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
