Colts’ Draft Plans Thickens: Potential Pick Won’t Participate in NFL Combine Drills
The Indianapolis Colts have several ways they can go with their first selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, but there’s one player who remains the favorite.
Though the draft is still months away, the Colts have a clear need at the tight end position, and Penn State’s Tyler Warren is expected to be the top player at the position.
However, the All-American tight end reportedly won’t be participating in the combine drills this week, per Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports. He also reportedly received an invite to the Green Room for the NFL draft.
This isn’t all that uncommon, especially in recent years. Warren will join the long list of high-end prospects who use the combine to meet with teams instead of working out. There’s a good chance he simply waits for Penn State’s pro day to work out.
