Dodgers injury report: Kershaw’s surgery, Hernandez’s progress
Clayton Kershaw appeared in just seven games in the regular season before suffering a bone spur in his big toe that effectively ended his 2024 campaign.
Kershaw took to his Instagram on Thursday to announce that he underwent surgery on both his toe and his knee on Wednesday, and is looking to “crush some rehab and be as good as can be come next year.”
Kershaw is once again a free agent, but expressed his willingness to remain a Dodger. Kershaw, who ranks first in Dodgers franchise history for strikeouts, sits just 32 strikeouts away from eclipsing 3,000 in his career.
