Fans Go Wild: Same Reaction from Bulls Faithful to Lavine and Vucevic Trade Talks

It’s time for the Chicago Bulls to make a substantial change.

Since acquiring Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan, and pairing the two with Zach LaVine, the Bulls have had plenty of shortcomings. Injuries haven’t been kind and the club has been unable to sustain success.

DeRozan walked from the team, having joined the Sacramento Kings in the recent offseason. After that, it was understood that Chicago was best off bringing a youth movement to the city. However, outside of trading Alex Caruso in favor of Josh Giddey — a potential young star — those moves haven’t quite come with volume, which might have been expected.

That could change in the near future.

Bulls are prepared to trade Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic

With two former All-Stars, LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, still on their roster, the Bulls aren’t exactly all-in on their young core quite yet. That should be changing shortly, however. The Bulls have started the season 7-11, and now the club is exploring trades for the two aforementioned players.

According to Joe Cowley, the team is actively looking to move on from those two players via trade.

“So what path will executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas choose? The Sun-Times, as well as several other media outlets, have reported that Karnisovas was still going to actively try and trade Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic,” Cowley reported in a recent article.

The news comes as Cowley was analyzing the current standings and where the Bulls would be should they finish out the season at their current pace. With a loaded upcoming draft class, there is plenty of incentive to be a bad team. Trading LaVine and Vucevic would be Chicago leaning into a rebuild and preparing to earn a top draft pick in the upcoming cycle.

Fans aren’t exactly sold that a move will come to fruition, however.

Bulls fans all have the same response to the potential trades

Chicago has been in the market to move on from their star players for a couple of years now, and the fans are expecting empty reports. They’re not entirely sold that the club will actually make moves regarding LaVine and Vucevic.

“Lavine been on the block for 2 years now,” one fan wrote.

“scheduled tweet every season,” one fan added.

“Will someone finally trade for LaVine? His value has to be cooked,” another fan said.

“LaVine spends more time in trade rumors then any other career I’ve witnessed,” one NBA fan said.

“We’ve known this since last season,” a fan claimed.

“It’s been like this for 2 years,” one added.

“This on repeat? I swore I saw this last year,” another fan said.

In other words, fans will believe it when they see it. In the meantime, another losing season in the Eastern Conference continues to play out.
