Breaking: Several Raiders Players Miss Practice Ahead Of Week 7

The Las Vegas Raiders are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday. With Wednesday being the first day of practice this week, we got a chance to see how healthy both teams are ahead of their Week 7 matchup, courtesy of the injury report. It appears the Raiders are significantly less healthy than the Rams are.

The Raiders had eight players missing practice on Wednesday. The most notable player is Maxx Crosby. Crosby has found his name in the headlines recently and one of those reasons is due to his ankle sprain which has hobbled him for about a month now. Two linebackers, Tommy Eichenberg and Kana’i Mauga also missed action. Defensive tackle John Jenkins missed practice as well, and so did cornerback Jack Jones, who has had a rough couple of weeks.

On the offensive side of the ball two key linemen in Kolton Miller and Dylan Parham each missed practice. Finally, the Raiders’ new WR1 after the Davante Adams trade, Jakobi Meyers, missed practice as well.

Las Vegas only had one limited participant, and that was running back Zamir White. As for the Rams, their injury report is a bit smaller. However, they do have a pretty stacked injured reserve, so it’s not as if they’re especially healthy either. The biggest name on their report is Cooper Kupp, who practiced for the first time this week after suffering an injury in the first week of the season. Getting him back would obviously be a major help for Los Angeles.

Long snapper Alex Ward was their only player to not participate, while WR Jordan Whittington and OG Joe Noteboom each participated in limited fashion.
