Transfer deadline day has been and gone so, with the market now shut, here’s a look at every bit of business Arsenal completed.
This summer marked an important time for the Gunners as Mikel Arteta looked to build on last season’s Premier League title challenge.
Arsenal came within a whisker of beating Manchester City to the trophy but lost out on the final day by fine margins.
The task for those at the top has been to strengthen the squad to make them capable of overcoming their rivals.

Arsenal signings on Deadline Day
- Raheem Sterling – loan from Chelsea
- Neto – loan from AFC Bournemouth
Arsenal looked to bolster their goalkeeper ranks beyond first-choice option David Raya by landing Neto on loan from AFC Bournemouth.
The experienced shot-stopper will compete for the number one shirt in an important campaign.
Arsenal exits on Deadline Day
- Aaron Ramsdale – joined Southampton
- Eddie Nketiah – joined Crystal Palace
- Reiss Nelson – joined Fulham on loan
A few exits were confirmed from Arsenal on transfer deadline day, with two of those being key figures in the side.
Aaron Ramsdale joined Southampton in a deal which will see him receive some more regular game time.
Eddie Nketiah made the switch to Crystal Palace, with hopes of also becoming a regular starter at his new club.
