Mikel Arteta gets another clear Arsenal transfer reminder as dream Declan Rice boost emerges
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be hoping preparations for next weekend’s North London Derby against Tottenham remain uninterrupted. The Gunners were dealt an early Premier League title blow after dropping points against Brighton with Declan Rice’s also sent off in the 1-1 draw at Emirates Stadium.
As a result of his dismissal, Rice will be suspended for the clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium though he still appears at the very top of his game. The Gunners head coach will be desperately hoping none of his other key players miss the game with the September international break ongoing.
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalhaes and Thomas Partey have all represented their nations in recent days with no obvious sign of any issues. Riccardo Calafiori meanwhile, left Italy’s clash against France with a minor injury scare though he looks to be fine.
