Legler Unleashes Truth Bomb on Rockets! ESPN NBA Analyst Tim Legler Weighs in
The Houston Rockets have lost 8 straight games on the road. The losing streak has been marked by close games and tough breaks such as injuries to key players. Despite the losses, there have been bright spots.
Younger players are gaining valuable experience, and the team has continued to show flashes of strong defense however the offense has been very inconsistent. ESPN Tim Legler chimed in on the Rockets recent struggles in his podcast.
“I’m also looking at Houston and I’m just like gosh I admire them. I love watching them play, they are tough and we have been raving about them all year. I don’t know is it maybe a Fred VanVleet effect or what.’” said Legler.
Legler doesn’t think the Rockets are there now to win a championship but he thinks they’re not going to be an easy team in the playoffs. “Is it that important that it’s just something about their team that you do question? They are a good team and they want be an easy team to play in the playoffs.
They’re not there yet, as you know I don’t think that’s a surprise to anybody as I feel like a lot of people thought that,” said Legler.
