McCaskey Succession Plan Revealed: Conor Take the Reins
The McCaskeys intend to own the Chicago Bears until the “second coming.” But who is in line to be Chairman after George? A few years ago, I speculated that Ed McCaskey Jr. was being groomed to take over as head of the organization. Well, a successor to George was revealed on a recent episode of the Hoge and Jahns podcast.“

So, who is Conor McCaskey? Does he know anything about football, or will he be another long-standing fan like George? The internet does not provide many answers about Conor. He attended Sycamore High School and played football and baseball, graduating in 2009. On the football field, he played linebacker and wide receiver. Otherwise, little to no information is available about him online.

Conor has spent multiple years working for the NFL and the Bears. One would hope he has a true passion for the sport and a desire to learn the game. That has been sorely missing during George’s tenure as Chairman. Being “just a fan” has not been good enough to set the tone at the top of the organization.
