NHL Drops Bombshell Statement on Connor Bedard! Chicago Blackhawks Forward Connor Bedard Under Scrutiny

The Chicago Blackhawks draft well, as Connor Bedard has joined the names of Bobby Hull, Jonathan Toews and Eddie Olcyzk with his latest eight-game point streak.

Bedard’s latest eight-game point streak has put him on a list with team legends like Hull and Toews.

Bedard has scored 11 points ( 4 G, 7 A) in his last eight games.

Among Blackhawks teenagers, Bedard still needs to extend his streak to tie Eddie Olcyzk and Jonathan Toews. As noted by the NHL’s PR team:

Connor Bedard extended his point streak to eight games. The only Blackhawks teenagers to achieve longer streaks are Jonathan Toews (10 GP in 2007-08), Eddie Olczyk (9 GP in 1985-86)* Connor Bedard (32-65-97) tallied an assist on Chicago’s first goal of the game and tied Patrick Kane (65) for the second-most assists by a teenager in Blackhawks history behind Eddie Olczyk (80)

We’re halfway through the season and could see Bedard turn up the heat under Interim Coach Anders Sorensen.

This is his second season in the NHL, and there were expectations that Bedard would top his 61 points last season.

Should he continue the pace he’s on, he could top it with 74 points this season, just shy of a point-per-game player despite his recent slump under former Coach Luke Richardson.

In 41 games this season Bedard has scored 37 points (11 G, 26 A). Bedard has consistently found himself in the company of the best players in the NHL year in and out.
