Panthers’ Offense About to Get Explosive: Addition of 39 TD Superstar Would Unlock Bryce Young’s Potential

The Carolina Panthers have an exciting offseason ahead of them. Bryce Young proved himself after he regained the starting job, playing with confidence for the first time in his young NFL career. With Young silencing quarterback talks, Carolina now needs to focus on surrounding him with viable talent.

Head coach Dave Canales wants to unleash this offense in 2025, so it’s important that they find a No.1 option for Young. Look no further than their rival, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are prepared to lose Chris Godwin in free agency. Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report listed Carolina as a potential suitor for Godwin this offseason.

Reuniting Canales and Godwin seems like a perfect scenario, while also supplying Young with the No.1 wideout that he needs. Godwin was on pace for another dominant season in 2024 before an ankle injury in Week 7 prematurely ended his campaign. He ended up with 50 catches for 576 yards and five touchdowns in those seven games.

Godwin joining forces with Young on the Panthers would pose problems for the rest of the NFC South for years to come.
