Now, into January 2025, Samsonov has strung together six straight wins. He hasn’t allowed more than two goals in any of those games. He’s also posted a solid .907 save percentage. His confidence is back, his game is steady, and he’s sharing the crease in tandem with Adin Hill.

Samsonov has recreated his own narrative. From battling confidence issues in Toronto to becoming a key player in Las Vegas, his story is one of a talented goalie who just stuck to it.
