Shocking: Raiders’ Superstar on the Verge of Quitting: Maxx Crosby Considered Leaving Amid Team’s Struggles

The Las Vegas Raiders have faced a lot of inconsistencies over the past decade, but Maxx Crosby has been the one constant and reliable part of this team since he was drafted in 2019. Being a true competitor, the three-time Pro Bowler wants to win, and while Las Vegas has compensated him well financially, they have not been able to feed the competitive fire within him.

Maxx Crosby seems to have reached the end of the rope. Despite signing a four-year $94,000,000 contract with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, the defensive star may choose to walk away from the team after another losing season. There have been rumors swirling around that Crosby wants out, but he had made his thoughts clear about the whole situation a while ago iterating that retiring in silver and black is part of his long-term vision.

However, his mindset seems to have changed a bit since. On a recent episode of The Rush, Maxx Crosby hinted at wanting out of the Raiders.

Years of inconsistency. New coaches every other year. New teammates. There’s been plenty of times where I’m like, ‘damn, like, this D-line is cold,’ and then I come back and every single one of them is gone. It’s like what the f***?

Maxx Crosby said

If he chooses to leave, nobody will blame him because the Raiders have become synonymous with losing over the last two seasons.

Maxx Crosby is open to hearing offers from other teams in the off-season

As per his contract, $53,075,000 is guaranteed and he has received the entire amount. With two more seasons left on his contract, he has a potential out after this year which is why Maxx Crosby understands that this is the time to consider a move.

I have no more guaranteed money. Obviously, there’s gonna be a lot of things that need to be talked about, and I’m looking forward to those conversations. I’m really looking forward to this off-season and the process.

Maxx Crosby explained.

For the Raiders fans, this should sound concerning. While Crosby’s words do not directly mean he is gone after this season, the mere fact that he is open to hearing other teams indicates his dissatisfaction with the Raiders organization.
