The Hardest Hurdle: Maxx Crosby Names the Toughest QB He’s Ever Faced

While the Las Vegas Raiders would like to forget the 2024 season, which was full of struggles and disappointment, they at least still have stars on the field, especially pass rusher Maxx Crosby. Crosby went on the “Let’s Go” podcast, where he was asked who he thought the quarterback who gave him the toughest time was.

The star pass rusher was asked, “Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow. You’ve played them all in big games, tell me what it’s like to face each guy, and which guy is the toughest Sunday for you?”

Crosby went on to say that Allen is the one that gives him the toughest time on the field.

“They’re all tough in their own right,” Crosby said. “I think I’ve sacked all of them, so I know what that feels like, and it’s always great because when you get a great quarterback down, it’s a little extra…feels like you got two sacks in one. You look at Josh Allen, the way he plays…A guy like (Josh Allen), he’s like a defensive end playing quarterback. He’s not afraid to get hit. He’s not afraid to let the play continue on in the play…”

Crosby, who has amounted to 366 tackles and 59.5 sacks in his six-year NFL career, has cemented himself as one of the premier pass rushers in the league. His praise for Allen just shows how tough and elite the quarterback is.

With the future of the Raiders in question, Crosby is hoping that the team can turn things around in 2025.
