“We Are Ready”: Lions Send Powerful 3-Word Warning Ahead of Vikings Showdown

In just under 24 hours the biggest game of the NFL season will take place in Detroit as the Lions host the Minnesota Vikings in what feels like a must-win game.

The winner of Sunday night’s game not only wins the NFC North, but also clinches the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff race and earns a bye through the first week of the playoffs. The loser, meanwhile, will fall to the No. 5 seed and must go on the road in the Wild Card round.

After an inconsequential win over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night, head coach Dan Campbell was asked about the Lions potentially landing the No. 1 see for the first time in franchise history.

“This is what you’re in it for, man. Ultimately, this is it,” Campbell told reporters after the game. “I mean, you couldn’t write a better scenario. You couldn’t come up with this. The fact that both teams are sitting at 14-2 and it’s for the division and the 1 seed. It just doesn’t get any better than that. It’s like this is fairytale stuff. And so, it speaks for itself. Our guys are excited.”

Ahead of the game, the Lions took to social media with a hype video showing off highlights from the season and a few words from Campbell.

The winner of Sunday night’s game will finish the regular season with a 15-2 record and the No. 1 seed while the loser falls to 14-3 and goes on the road in the first round of the playoffs.

Detroit and Minnesota kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
