Santiago Castro is a professional footballer who currently represents Bologna in the Italian Serie A, whom he joined in January 2024 from Argentinian side Velez Sarsfield.
Castro came through the academy at Velez, and enjoyed a stunning breakthrough which earned him a move to Europe.

Castro was born on September 18, 2004, making him 20 years old at the time of writing.
The Bologna star was born in Buenos Aires, and has represented Argentina at under-23 level.

Santiago Castro is a centre-forward, who has briefly played on both wings in the past, and is predominantly right-footed.

Santiago Castro stands at 1.79m, or five feet and five inches tall, which makes him short when compared to other centre-forwards who rely on physicality.
However, Castro is a striker in the mould of Sergio Aguero, who stands at 1.73m tall. Both have low centres of gravity, and their supreme technical ability made up for their lack of height.
